May 23rd 2011 – Lake of Menteith

The forecast was for 70 mph winds. And, er, it was pretty much accurate. This was the view across the River Forth at 3 p.m…. Needless to say, there was no fishing done on Menteith.  Oh well, let’s look forward to a nice serene day at Carron Valley Reservoir, next Sunday.
