This outing was looked forward to following a successful visit in June, however our anglers found it very hard going on what proved to be a difficult day. Only Trevor Gibson and his guest Dave Bertram cracked it. They stuck close to the Dam Wall and ended up with 18 fish between them. Trevor had 11 to his own rod, figure-of-eighting a ghost tip, with a cast of blob/cormorant/snatcher. Dave had 7 to the same combination.
The other 8 anglers could manage only another 8 fish between them for a club total of 26.
