A very hot sunny day did not make things easy for this outing, with temperatures reaching the mid twenties and the surface being flat calm for much of the day. However, where there is a will there is a way, and Tommy Steven found that a yellow booby on a DI-5 with a varied retrieve was the answer. He fished the West bay and ended up with a very good total of 8 fish. Ed Green and Trevor Gibson netted 4 fish each. Ed used his size 14 black nymph to good effect on a Kelly Green intermediate with a slow retrieve, while Trevor figure-of-eighted buzzers under an indicator.
11 anglers caught 26 fish, 15 of which were returned.
