A misty start, followed by very light winds and bright sun (not forecast!) for nearly the whole day! A pity, because any moment of cloud and we were getting action to dries.

Loch amazingly low – while everyone to the south had been suffering deluges… up here… nothing! Midges amazingly bad – a thing, apparently.
