A few mayfly coming off, but the fish yet to tune in to them. Hard work with dries in bright sunshine. A few alders provided a bit of sport.

Plenty overwintered fish in the loch, though a lot of them showing signs of encounters with cormorants.

Bad weather and a high loch (no beaches for the boats) confined Saturday end-of-season festivities to the harbour at Balmaha. No less festive though! Needless to say, Sunday morning brought in a glorious day.
