Divers: Black-throated, red-throated and great northern
Divers are magnificent creatures. They seem to be gradually increasing in range and numbers. We see black-throated divers on many lochs from Perthshire, northwards. Red throated divers are not quite so common, but can be seen on Loch Watten, as well as Orkney, the Western Isles and other remote places. They are not the most approachable birds, however, and getting a decent photo of them is hard!
