Uist 2014
Twelve of us again for 2014. The fishing was hard, not helped by having 3 cloudless days Monday-Wednesday. However, if you were on the right water on the right day, there were fish to be caught.
Islands
Uist 2013
Party of 12. Fishing was hard and personally cut short. However, a magical spell on Fada with some fresh wee sea trout saved our bacon.
Uist 2012
A reduced party of 10 this year. Made perming five lochs from seven nice and easy though! Monday was a bit of a write-off due to 40 mph winds. Tuesday was no better. Friday was very wet – so photos are mostly from Wed/Thurs.
Uist 2011
Eighteen again this year. Some good fishing to be had.
Uist 2010
Our first trip to South Uist for salmon and sea trout, end of August. Eighteen of us, 7 lochs to try, plus some brownie fishing.
South Uist 2015
Twelve of us this year. Fishing the poorest by far – 9 sea trout and no salmon between us!
North (and South) Uist
Visited in May, 2003, 2004 and 2005 for brown trout.
