A couple of secluded wee waters on the Duke of Buccleuch’s estate, down Selkirk way.
Chew and Blagdon Reservoirs were a regular venue for a party of us throughout the 80s, 90s and 00s. Last visited in 2008.
Photographs taken covering a corporate day with an extended family of Americans who were, to a man/woman, totally new to fly fishing. They weren’t quite prepared for the 7 degrees in May that they got. Then the haar set in!
An early season trip with Stan to the mighty Loch Awe.
Doing a piece for Trout and Salmon with Stan H.
Another piece for T&S with Stan. Knockie is a good-sized loch on the south side of Loch Ness. Plentiful wild brownies in the three-quarter pound class. Slavonian grebes nest there.
