River a perfect height, if poor light for photography. However, it started raining at mid-day and never stopped. The river stayed a steady height until just after I left at 3:00 p.m…
What saved me from packing-in, which all the other photographers present were forced to do when the rain started, was that I had taken the wee folding brolly that came with the car and put it in my bag… in case of rain! Stood for 3 hours holding the brolly over the camera. It was almost dark in the afternoon. ISO levels through the roof, so avoided hard crops that tend to show the noise more. However, the wider perspectives do a good job of showing what the fish are achieving.
