The grey and ‘rust’ tubes are the ‘monopiles’.  They are the foundations.

The yellow tubes are called ‘transition pieces’ and fit on top of the piles…

And the turbines go on top of the yellow tubes.

It all looks like a huge-scale thing.  And yet it is tiny compared to what is proposed for Berwick Bank.  It’s going to be 4 times the size of Edinburgh, with turbines 6 times the height of the Scott Monument!
