Lochaber 2015
Ten of us spent a week of fishing Lochs Arkaig, Shiel and Lochy for ferox with wet fly. Thankfully I caught one! Some of the fish caught by others on this trip, and other trips to these waters can be found here.
Loch Shiel
My old stomping fground from the 1970s revisited with Stan and Mark Hirst. Trying for a sea trout for T&S mag. Despite all the problems from salmon farming, there are still one or two sea trout running.
Loch Lochy
An April trip to fish Lochy with Stan and Mark Hirst. Good sport with plenty of wild brownies in the half to one pound class.
