Last day of the season on the Big Loch. Seventeen degrees, leaving Edinburgh at 7 a.m. Cracking day – we had the usual end of season drum-up on Inchlonaig – wild boar & Stornoway black pudding burgers with mushies and ingins… and a dram or three…
We retired to the Oak Tree at Balmaha – still warm enough to sit outside with a pint, before we went in for a bar meal. The locals were in Halloween mood.
